Man faces court after stabbing woman
Broke into home.
A man has spent the night behind bars ahead of appearing at Gosford local court today, after allegedly breaking into a house and stabbing a woman inside on Saturday morning.
The man allegedly entered the property in Gosford's Faunce Street through a window around 1am, slashing a 28 year old woman with a knife when she confronted him.
The woman is now stable in Gosford Hospital, after being treated for several injuries including a suspected punctured lung.
The 22 year old briefly fronted Wyong Bail Court yesterday, where bail was refused.
He'll appear in Gosford on the charges of Aggravated Break & Enter commit serious indictable offence & Wound person with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
