Witnesses are urged to come forward after a man suffered serious leg injuries during a nasty hit-and-run incident in Sydney’s south-west.

About 8.05pm last night, the 28-year-old was reportedly struck by a truck that was travelling north west on Denham Court Road at Denham Court, about 10km from Campbelltown.

Cops say the driver failed to stop and provide assistance to the injured man, who was later treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a serious condition.

Campbelltown Police Area Command officers attended and established a crime scene, with the Metropolitan Crash Investigation Unit police now conducting inquiries into the incident.

They’re urging anyone with information to come forward by contacting Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or use the Crime Stoppers online reporting page.
