Man On The Run With 10-Month-Old Baby Believed To Be In New Vehicle

A man who is assaulted his pregnant partner before fleeing with a 10-month-old child has changed vehicles. 
It is believed a man has assaulted his pregnant partner at Mentone today. The man left the scene in an aqua-green Toyota Yaris sedan WJQ334 with a 10-month-old child stating he is going to harm the baby and himself. 
The man has since left that vehicle and is now believed to be in another vehicle. 

The is perceived to be of Pacific islander/ Maori appearance and was last seen wearing grey tracksuit pants, a plain white t-shirt and a grey cap.
The investigation remains ongoing.
