A Helidon man has fronted court after police seized drug utensils found in his home.
Officers seized the items after allegedly spotting the marijuana plants being grown in a shed on his property, when they returned to the property three days later, the plants were no longer there,
The 34-year-old man told Toowoomba Magistrates Court that he had turned to marijuana use after suffering mental health issues as a result of workplace bullying.
A further police search of the property also found a bag with 7.1g of marijuana, two home-made glass pipes for smoking the drug, four brass pipes and an electric grinder and scissors used for cutting up the drug.
The man pleaded guilty to producing and possessing a dangerous drug and to possessing drug related utensils – he was fined $1200 and no conviction was recorded.
