This weekend's Grand Final was hard fought by both sides. Patrick Dangerfield was a man on a mission. Gary Ablett powered on through the game despite sustaining a shoulder injury in the first quarter. But the Best on Ground and Norm Smith Medalist was Dustin Martin.

In the spirit of all the Dusty hype; Mark Ricciuto shares a previously unheard story about The Adelaide Crows trying to court Dusty back in 2017 - before the Grand Final he defeated them in.

"We had a genuine crack at him as a Footy club." Ricciuto reports "We had just lost Paddy Dangerfield and it was like for like."

"We got involved pretty heavily," Roo continues, even revealing that he got special permission on his passport to go and visit Dusty's father "I wanted to show him how serious we were."
