Mark Skaife FIRED UP Over Superloop Cancellation

"I can't believe it, seriously, I never saw it going out of our sporting landscape in Australia." Mark Skaife wasted no time jumping into it "In the general Australian sporting landscape, it was one of the biggest sporting events of the year."

"I hear Government talking about how they are going to spend more money on some other events with the money they spent on this... This was the biggest event!"

Skaife was absolutely shocked at the decision to cancel such a popular event, that had an audience that was still dramatically increasing. “A lot of the messaging is wrong.. it’s the fastest growing sport on Fox Sports… it’s been up double digit growth over the last 5 years…”

The Superloop used to bring an average of $46 million dollars into Adelaide, and yet the press release attached to the cancellation declared the sport as 'in decline'.

"It is the number one supercars events that Supercars do. It's not Bathurst."
