Marron scam guy faces his day in court

WA Police have revealed that a 54 year old man has been charged with 29 counts of Gains Benefit by Fraud.

It is alleged that he would ask members of the public for money, claiming that he had lost his wallet and needed money for a taxi fare to return to his marron farm in Serpentine.

It is alleged that the man offered to return the money and gave the people false contact details.


He will appear in Perth Magistrates Court today, May 19.
