Labor leader and die-hard Souths tragic Anthony Albanese had to put on his diplomacy hat this morning when his interview with The Big Breakfast descended into rugby league territory.

The federal opposition leader was asked by host Greg Martin to defend comments he’d made about caring more about a Rabbitohs loss than a NSW defeat and the Member for Grayndler hit back with suggestions that a certain Maroons star should carry his Origin form into the regular season.
