Marto is PUMPED that ‘Chopper’ has returned to Red Hill

The Broncos will be packing a punch in season 2022 after it has been revealed that their former premiership-era boxing coach has been recalled to whip the players into shape.

Mark ‘Chopper’ Burgess was part of the club’s conditioning staff when the Broncos won their 1998 and 2000 premierships and this morning on The Big Breakfast Marto couldn’t give more of a glowing endorsement.

“The (Queensland) Reds have had one of their best seasons ever, who’s been doing the punching training the Reds? Chopper!”
