Mayfield Woman Allegedly Stabs Ex-Partner With Kitchen Knife

A Mayfield woman has been charged over a domestic-related stabbing overnight.

The 45 year old is alleged to have stabbed her 36 year old former partner with a kitchen knife after the two got into a fight at a house in Highfield Street at 9:30pm.

She was given bail and will face court at a later date, charged with reckless wounding.

The man is currently recovering in hospital.
