Premier Mark McGowan has gone on the front foot and defined just what the new border measures mean for Western Australia and West Australians.
"We put the hard border back up, and really, that means we've stopped all traffic, bar a few defence and commonwealth officials and compassionate cases from South Australia,
"We know the border works, we've got a (controlled) border in place, we won't hesitate to put up an even harder border if we need to."
It's firm, measured advice from our Premier.
