Anyone at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary last Sunday should keep a close eye out for measles symptoms.

It's after someone with the contagious disease visited the park on March 11.

They also a went to the Woolworths on Fifth Avenue in Logan the following Wednesday, and the Logan Hospital on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday (March 14-16).

Health authorities say anyone who visited those places on those days should keep an an out for the initial symptoms of measles.

They include fever, lethargy, runny nose, moist cough and sore, red eyes, followed a few days later by a blotchy, red rash.

Anyone with those symptoms should contact their GP and let them know before going in, so staff can take precautions to avoid the disease spreading .
