Melbourne Cup-Winning Jockey Michelle Payne Gives Her Derby Day Tips

Winner of the 2015 Melbourne Cup Michelle Payne joined Roo & Ditts on Triple M Adelaide to share her insights into the upcoming Spring Carnival race meets.

Payne is heralded for her stellar performance on Prince Of Penzance six years ago, where she told the world to "get stuffed" after becoming the first female jockey to win the illustrious race.

The 36-year-old provided an insider's prediction for Saturday's Derby Day, the second biggest track meet behind Tuesday's race.

"I think Colette in Race 5 [Derby Day] is a good one to get on.. She's a class horse." Payne said.
