Melbourne is well known for having crazy weather.
Today has run the full gamut — a sunny, muggy day giving way first to hail and then to enormous thunderstorms.
The most Melbourne thing about the day, though, has been the hail that came down in the middle of brilliant sunshine at around 3:30pm:
