Melbourne Prepares To Farewell Terror Victim Sisto Malaspina

Melburnians will today farewell Sisto Malaspina, the 74-year-old victim of the recent Bourke Street terror attack.
A state funeral service for the co-owner of Pellegrini’s Espresso Bar will be held at East Melbourne’s St Patrick’s Cathedral.
Guests including the Governor of Victoria Linda Dessau and expected to join family members in paying tribute to Mr Malaspina, who died following injuries sustained on November 9.
In the wake of the tragedy, hundreds of cards and flowers have been left outside Pellegrini’s on Bourke Street, while devastated customers queued to sign a book of condolence.
Premier Daniel Andrews, who made the offer of a state funeral to his family, said Mr Malaspina was a "Victorian icon, known and loved by us all".
