Melbourne is easing restrictions gradually.
Victoria has recorded 1313 new Covid cases and four deaths in the last twenty-four hours.
Four hundred and fifty-seven people are battling Covid in hospital whilst 79 of those are in intensive care and 48 are on ventilators.
Eighty-five per cent of the state aged over 12 are fully vaccinated whilst 92.7% have received their first jab. It has been predicted a 90% double dosed vaccination rate will be reached by November 24.
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews has flagged that there will be no density limits or caps anywhere beyond that date.
“Masks will only be required in high-risk indoor settings, such as public transport, prisons, hospitals, aged care, to give you some examples. I want to see 80,000 plus people at the Boxing (Day) Test on day one. It won’t be easy, but we are very confident, very, very confident that we will be able to deliver that,” he said.
