Merv Hughes Enters Australian Cricket Hall Of Fame

MERV HUGHES has become the 56th inductee into the Australian Cricket Hall of Fame.

The Gentle Giant not only "made Australia win games, but he entertained us as well."

Merv talked about the emotions that came rushing back during the ceremony and the company he now keeps as a Hall of Famer.

Reflecting on the early stages of his career; Merv discusses the players that inspired him in his childhood backyard cricket days, as well as being selected to play for Victoria.

"Being successful at sport is just a matter of opportunity. All you're worried about is getting in the team and holding your spot."

And of course we had to discuss Bay 13.
