Triple M's Mark Geyer has called Tevita Pangai Jnr's decision to pledge his allegiance to Tonga indefinitely as brave.
Pangai Jnr has reportedly told Blues coach Brad Fittler he will be representing Tonga despite originally planning to play in this year's Origin series, if picked.
Speaking on Triple M's The Rush Hour with MG, Geyer backed Pangai Jnr's decision.
