Mid North Coast LHD gets White Ribbon accreditation
First health district in NSW
A state-first for the region, as the Mid North Coast Local Health District has become the first New South Wales health district to secure White Ribbon Accreditation.
Chief Executive Stewart Dowrick says the move aims to prevent violence against women, support survivors and hold perpetrators to account among the workforce.
The organisation has been given the status for the next few years, as it’s brought a 4,000-strong staff up to speed with anti-violence education over the past 18 months.
