Councillors from Mildura, Yarriamblack and Buloke are set to join forces for a joint advocacy campaign to return passenger rail services to the region.
The meeting is the latest in an ongoing push to return passenger rail services to communities along the Mildura-Maryborough rail corridor.
The talks resulted in an in-principle support by all parties for a joint advocacy campaign in the lead up to the 2018 Victorian Election, and a commitment to undertake a feasibility study into the return of a passenger rail service.
