Million Dollar Benchie | Why Titans Insist Upon Starting Fifita on the Pine
THE BIG BREAKFAST WITH MARTO AND MARGAUX
It was one of the great off-field coups that saw David Fifita turn his back on the Brisbane Broncos to join the new wave of hope down the M1 at Robina.
On an estimated $3.5 million-dollar, three-year deal Fifita has been in a rich vein of form this season on his home deck, scoring 11 tries in his last seven games and CBUS stadium including a barnstorming effort in the first half of yesterday’s upset romp over a hapless St. George-Illawarra outfit.
However, it’s Justin Holbrook’s decision to continue starting Fifita on the bench that has fans baffled.
