Minimum wage increase announced.
Millions of Aussies will have a bit more money in their pay packet with an increase to the minimum wage announced.
Fair Work Commission today announced the minimum wage will increase by 3 per cent.
The decision will see the minimum wage rise to $740.80 a week or $19.49 an hour.
This means around 2.2 million Australian workers will earn an extra $21.60 per week from July 1.
