INXS fans have a lot to be excited about at the moment.

  1. Work is apparently about to commence on a dedicated museum to the band in Ballina, NSW
  2. A close mate of the band, Richard Lowenstein, is putting his final touches to a biopic on the life and times of the late Michael Hutchence
  3. Channel 7's Sunday Night just uploaded the story they did on the band in 2014, all 42 minutes of it, in its entirety

The story is a warts and all account of the band's tenure as one of the best bands in the world... and features interviews with every member of the band, including their long time manager, CM Murphy.

A cool thing about it too is that it features footage from an interview with their late great lead singer from around 1993, which sort of works when edited within footage of Hutchence's band mates from more recent times.

It also gives a real insight into how Hutchence and his partner in crime for when it came to writing pretty much all of INXS' big hits, Andrew Farriss, actually wrote their stuff.

It's only just gone up this week, so it makes for a perfect way to spend almost an hour with INXS if you are a fan.

Watch it here:

Like we said, it's old, but worth a visit if you loved the band, the man, or Aussie music in general.
