A man will face court after he was still driving on the Coffs Coast an hour after his driving privileges in NSW were suspended for speeding.

At 4:30pm on Thursday afternoon, Police detected a Ford Mustang travelling at 150km/h in a 100km/h signposted area on the Pacific Hwy at Swan Creek, near Grafton.

The man was stopped, and issued a Penalty Notice for $2435, his Victorian driving privileges in NSW were suspended immediately for a period of 6 months.

Approximately an hour later, the same Ford Mustang was stopped in Coffs Harbour, being driven by the same male.

He was subsequently issued with a Court Attendance Notice for Driving Whilst Suspended (Driving Privileges Withdrawn) and will appear in Coffs Harbour Local Court in April.
