My Story. Our Story. Is an event organised to start a conversation around domestic violence, gender equity and respect in the Riverina region.

Alarming statistics have been released showing

  • 1 in 25 people in Wagga think domestic violence is okay in certain circumstance
  • In Wagga domestic violence rates 29% higher than for the rest of NSW
  • 1 In 4 people think domestic violence in some instances is ok

The My Story. Our Story. Project is focused on changing the attitudes and beliefs, recognising that rigid gender stereotypes and norms, and gender inequality are the main drivers of DFV and create a violence-supportive environment.

Join the conversation, hear about Ray Martin's personal experience with domestic violence and discover how as a community, you can be a part of the solution.
