Wagga’s mystery Saturday Lotto winner has been found, with a woman in her 20s returning from holidays, to discover the ticket she’s had stowed away in her purse since April, was worth almost $800,000.
The woman explained she had been away on holidays for a few months, saying she was overwhelmed at the news, and hasn’t yet decided how she will spend the windfall.
Her six-game QuickPick entry was one of five division one winners nationally in the Saturday draw on April 29, each winning a division one prize of $792,331.85.
