Nasty Hinterland Smash Leaves Man Fighting For Life
Had To Be Cut Free From Wreck
A man has been rushed to hospital in a critical condition after a serious car crash at Tamborine.
He was trapped by his arm and legs and had to be cut free from the wreckage, after his car collided with another vehicle at the corner of Beaudesert-Beenleigh Road and Mundoolun Connection Road at around 7am on Monday.
The 38-year-old was eventually freed from the vehicle at around 8:30am before transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with head, leg and internal injuries.
Another patient, a 59-year-old woman, was taken to Logan City Hospital in a stable condition.
