Two sections of the Bomen Enabling Roads project have now opened to traffic, with work on Dorset Drive and the new road underpass now complete.
Wagga City Council says the new access links Bomen Road to Byrnes Road, and also significantly improves road safety in the area by closing the Dampier Street level crossing.
General Manager James Bolton says it’s another great milestone in the delivery of the Bomen Enabling Roads project, which is one of the largest infrastructure projects in the history of the city, and is set to be completed by the end of October.
