After a "miracle" election across Australia the seat of Herbert welcomes in newcomer Phillip Thompson with a swing back to the LNP.
This morning the 31-year-old spoke with Pricey saying that he's ready to fight for Herbert.
Phillip says that throughout the campaign he was himself and he stood up for the public.
As an army veteran, Phillip told Pricey that the experience with the ADF has taught him resilience for what is ahead in this role.
When quizzed by Pricey as to how he'll fight for our region, Phillip promised to do what he can.
"If it's good for the region, I'll back it everytime," said Phillip.
