Newcastle Local Caught In LA Riots Shares Thoughts On #BlackLivesMatter Protests

Newcastle born actor Zac Garred, now living in Los Angeles, joined Tanya & Steve this morning to talk about the ongoing protests throughout the USA in response to the murder of George Floyd. 

Zac has witnessed mass destruction over the past week in what he claims is "a genuine national emergency".

He explained that when the actual protests subsided last night, an "ugly, emotional side appeared". 

"When the crowd started to break out, I think that's when emotions started to really begin to show. And it deteriorated to the situation witnessed last night."
