Nick Cester has revealed that Jet have recently been in the studio working on new music.

The Jet frontman was speaking on Triple M Adelaide ahead of the band's performance at the Superloop Adelaide 500, with Nick Cester saying people attending can expect to hear "all the hits", because the band hasn't had any new music in a long while.

However, that could be about to change, with Cester saying the band was in the studio last week.

"We actually spent a few days in a studio last week to see what would happen if we put ourselves in that situation," Cester told Roo and Ditts on Triple M Adelaide.

"And I wouldn't be surprised if some new stuff started to turn up in the next year."
