Triple M's Nick Riewoldt joined JB and Billy on the Rush Hour, where Billy Brownless had a few footy-related questions to throw at Roo.

One of them was where he currently sees Collingwood, who have won just one of their first four games to sit 14th on the ladder, with a trip to Perth to play West Coast incoming.

Riewoldt believes Collingwood are neither contending nor rebuilding.

"I think they're in no man's land," he explained.

"I don't think they're challenging, and the reason I don't think they're rebuilding...is they fielded the oldest team in the round on the weekend.

"If you're rebuilding, you don't get rid of your highest draft pick over the last four years, which is Jaidyn Stephenson.

"They've got some big decisions to make over the next 12 months. I've still got great faith in Nathan Buckley as a coach, because we know defensively they're so good."
