NRL Shut Down North Sydney Bears Attempt To Rejoin The Competition

The NRL has put a halt to North Sydney's bid to rejoin the competition, putting a red line through their proposal to take over the Gold Coast Titans.

The Bears were one of four consortia to bid for the Titans and had plans to change the name of the club to the Gold Coast Bears while playing a few 'home' games at North Sydney Oval.

However, as reported in the Courier Mail, the NRL has dismissed the takeover ... some relief for Titans fans. 

The sale of the club is expected to be finalised by the end of November.
