Oakey Man Receives Two Year Jail Sentence

An Oakey man has been sentenced to over 2-years behind bars following a spate of thefts and burglaries.

The 29-year-old had only just been released from jail in July when he stole $200 worth of meat and products from a supermarket.

The man also allegedly broke into a number of homes in the area before being caught.

He was sentenced to 30-months in jail, but ordered he be released on parole in August 2019.
