Triple M's Adam Gilchrist believes Australian 'new-look' ODI squad is a desire to go away from the all-out attack style of play the Aussie's are accustom to.

In contrast to the comments from Shane Warne, who slammed selectors after Chris Lynn, D’Arcy Short and Travis Head were left out, Gilchrist can see a change in the style of play coming for the Aussies.

It's a similar style of side to the English, who are now number one in the world in the 50-over format.

Speaking on Triple M's Willow Talk, Gilchrist had this to say about Australia's ODI-squad.

AUSTRALIAN ODI-SQUAD vs. INDIA: Aaron Finch (capt), Usman Khawaja, Shaun Marsh, Peter Handscomb, Glenn Maxwell, Marcus Stoinis, Mitch Marsh, Alex Carey, Jhye Richardson, Billy Stanlake, Jason Behrendorff, Peter Siddle, Nathan Lyon, Adam Zampa.
