One Man’s Toilet Joke Leads To Full Scale Bomb Threat At Local Store

An American bloke’s “playful” warning before he used he toilet inside a Home Depot store led to a full-scale bomb threat with the police having to be called, according to the The Wichita Eagle.

According to local police, the man was believed to have said: "You all need to get out of here because I’m fixin’ to blow it up."

A store employee who was also in the male bathroom alerted security, just before two other men come forward after hearing ehe same thing.

“Somebody told me there’s a bomb in the building, you need to leave the building,” police told reporters.

Officers responded to the store’s 911 call around 12:15 p.m. and tracked down the man.

After questioning the police concluded the man “had no intention of causing such alarm” and that the “bomb” comment was meant to be funny.
