An inner Sydney mother in her 40s has scooped up the entire division one record breaking $107 million Powerball jackpot!

The healthcare professionals ticket was the only division one entry to match all seven winning numbers in last night’s draw - making history along the way as the biggest amount won by a single entry to date in Australia.

With the incredible amount of entries bought the first prize jumped to a more than $107 million, the largest individual prize ever in Australian lotteries.

When contacted by a representative from The Lott, she initially thought she had won $107,000.

“Wait - are you telling me I've won $107 million!? Oh my God! That is just so much money!" she said.

The lucky winner purchased her 12-game ticket on line, choosing the numbers herself, there was nothing special about the numbers, they were just picked at random.

So what does the woman, who bought her winning ticket at random the day before the draw plan to do with her new wealth?

The mum from Sydney told The Lott that she would not retire and would share her winnings with her family and her favourite charities.

The winning numbers in Powerball Draw #1183 were:

20, 18, 33, 22, 11, 26, 4 and the Powerball was number 9.
