A Garden Party to Say Thanks!

The Orange City Council held a Garden Party this morning, to thank local volunteers, who provide support to the Councils Community Services Wing.

Its called Choices at Home. Community volunteers, helping to support the wing, and older residents, through initiatives like Meals on Wheels, Women's Shed, and Telecare.

Mayor Reg Kidd believes its important to acknowledge our volunteers. 

“Many of Orange City Council Community Services rely on the valuable contribution made by volunteers throughout the year.

It’s vital we recognise the continued support of volunteers, whose donation of time and energy, is essential in securing the continuation and success many of our services.”
