A series clean sweep is on the cards for NSW in tonight’s dead-rubber at CBUS Stadium and that result could see Maroons coach Paul Green walk away from the top job a year early.

Queensland will be trying avoid their first series sweep since 2000 and after last year’s underdog victory under Wayne Bennett current coach Paul Green may end his tenure prematurely.

Speaking on The Big Breakfast with Marto & Margaux NRL insider Dobbo told listeners that Green, returned from the coaching wilderness to take the helm at the Maroons but may leave his post a year early after a litany of issues in the Queensland camp.

“It’s a different thing dealing with the media in Townsville than what it is coaching Queensland and he’s had a lot of things go wrong this series”
