Two men have been arrested over a huge drug bust at Biggera Waters where police allegedly uncovered a bag full of meth.
Officers from the Gold Coast Rapid Action Patrol intercepted a vehicle on Brisbane Road around 9.40am on Monday, with one passenger allegedly giving a false name.
Upon searching the car police then allegedly found a bag with a large quantity of methamphetamine with a street value estimated at $11,500.
A 40-year-old man from Coomera is due in Southport Magistrates Court On October 17, given a notice to appear on one count each of possession dangerous drugs, possession of thing used in connection with a drug offence and possession of utensil.
While a 39-year-old man from Burleigh Heads has been given a notice to appear on one count each of possession of a dangerous drug, possession a thing used in connection with a drug offence and possession of a utensil.
He's due in Southport Magistrates Court on October 29.
