The Panthers have been dealt a blow heading into the finals with fullback Dylan Edwards suffering a knee injury against the Dragons on Sunday.

"Scans have confirmed Panthers fullback Dylan Edwards will be sidelined for at least three weeks after suffering a grade two medial ligament tear in his left knee," read a statement on www.penrithanthers.com.au.

"Edwards suffered the injury late in the first half during Sunday's defeat to the Dragons at Pepper Stadium.

"His replacement at fullback in the Panthers side to face Manly will be named on Tuesday afternoon."
