Park Closure for part of Mount Frankland South National Park, in the Shire of Manjimup

The Parks and Wildlife Service at the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions advises that the following parks or recreation sites have been closed due to a prescribed burn in the area:

Frankland Forest Block in Mount Frankland South National Park, bounded by Ward Road, North Walpole Road, Copeland Road, Base Road, Ford Road, Collis Road and Loop Road.

WHAT TO DO:  

People are urged to avoid the area, follow the advice of DBCA Parks and Wildlife Service staff and observe signage. People already in the area should leave for a safer place.

The department will provide an update if the situation changes or when sites have been re-opened.
