Patrick Dangerfield Tells The Real Story Behind His Involvement In That Surfing Attack

Geelong superstar Patrick Dangerfield says reports about him breaking up a scuffle with his cousin at the surf are "not quite true", telling Triple M's Dead Set Legends what actually happened that day.

DANGERFIELD EXPLAINS WHAT REALLY HAPPENED:

Reports emerged that Dangerfield had come to the rescue of his cousin at the beach, who had become involved in an incident with a fellow surfer.

3AW and the Herald Sun reported that the Geelong star was out in the water and came to his cousin's aid.

But, according to Dangerfield, that's not quite what happened.

"It's not quite true," he told Triple M's Dead Set Legends on Saturday.

"Newspapers getting it wrong...never heard of it before!" Emma Freedman laughed
