Perth Man Hailed A Hero After Throwing Ciggie Butt Back Into Car

A Perth man has become a viral sensation after he was caught on camera throwing a cigarette butt back into the car it was just tossed from.

Magnus Hand uploaded dash cam vision of the ordeal onto Facebook page Dash Cam Owners Australia and within 20 minutes, his video has been liked 3000 times.

In the video, which was taken on Thursday afternoon in Churchlands, Perth, a woman drops a cigarette butt from the drivers’ side window of her white Kia hatchback.

Mr Hand then leaves his vehicle, picks up the woman’s cigarette butt and throws it back in the car.

The video has received rave reviews from commenters, with one suggesting he should be awarded Australian of the Year.
