In true Aussie style, 24 year old, Sam Hensen-Thompson has committed to running a marathon in his thongs to raise money for Perth Children’s Hospital.

“It just started off as a bit of a joke…the flip flops were standing out on the front porch and I slid into them and went for a 10km run,” Sam said on the Rush Hour with Embers and Katie.
“If I have to run 100km after this marathon, I’m going to do it for these kids.”
