My eyes, they're burning.

Celebrity chef and 100 percent, certifiably NOT at doctor, Pete Evans reckons we should start looking directly into the sun.

Pete Evans aka Paleo Pete, the celebrity chef behind Channel 7's My Kitchen Rules and heaps smart ideas like feeding infants a paleo diet (against doctors advice), not wearing sunscreen (against doctors advice), and not drinking fluoridated water because it's the cause to all of societies problems (against a mountain of scientific evidence), has some new unsolicited advice for us all - stare directly into the sun (against doctors advice).

Posting to his Instagram page, Pete Evans had this moment of wisdom:

"Everyday I love to immerse myself in an experience within the cleansing ocean water as well as a brief gaze into the radiant light of the early rising or late setting Sun. These simple, yet powerful practices have got to be two of the best forms of free medicine on the planet for body, mind and spirit #sungazing"

Although only advocating for a "brief gaze" at the sun, doctors say only seconds looking into the sun can cause irreparable damage, so, ya know, for the umpteenth time don't take health advice from Pete Evans.
