Local theatre is back!

Previously cancelled due to COVID-19, Dick Whittington Down Under has been given the go ahead and is set to open curtains at the end of the month.

The play acts as a sequel to the classic Dick Whittington tale, beginning as the titular character realises being Mayor of London isn't all it's cracked up to be. He travels to Sydney with aspirations to become an actor, and sets off on "an adventure of continental proportions".

"Dick Whittington Down Under takes audiences of all ages on a hilarious adventure filled with kooky characters, hilarious songs, daring rescues and some terrible puns. Written, produced and cast with an entirely local team, Pitter Pat Productions once again creates a unique experience by and for Pilbara people. Perfect for families, with something for everyone this tale about helping others to realise their potential is not to be missed." (Pitter Pat Productions)

This morning, Pitter Pat Productions Chairperson Danni Chamberlain joined Pablo to chat about the play. Hear more in the catch up below:

Shows will be held on October 31st and November 1st. Find more details here
