Pittsworth Man Takes Home Division One in Saturday's Gold Lotto Draw
"Just magical"
A well deserved win for a hard working man from the Pittsworth region has described his Saturday Gold Lotto division one win as “magical”.
The down-to-earth man held one of the 10 division one winning entries nationally in Saturday Gold Lotto draw 3851 on 16 June 2018. Each entry took home a division one prize of $417,040.52.
The Darling Downs man was oblivious to his good fortune until a Golden Casket official delivered the dream-come-true news yesterday evening.
The regular Gold Lotto player admitted he knew how some of his windfall would be used.
“We’d like to do some home renovations and we might put in a new kitchen,” he said.
“There should be a bit left over after a new kitchen. If I spend that much on a kitchen I need a kick in the butt!”
The man, who wishes to remain anonymous, purchased his 12-game marked entry from Pittsworth Newsagency, 57 Yandilla Street, Pittsworth.
