Police are appealing for anyone that may have witnessed a crash in Wongan Hills on Friday night to get in contact.
On 27 April, a man in his 20's was travelling at approximately 7:45pm on the Northam-Pithara Road (approximately 12km south of the townsite), when the driver of a white Holden Commodore failed to negotiate a bend in the road and struck a tree.
The sole occupant of the vehicle, tragically died at the scene.
Another tragic fatality in the Central Wheatbelt and Avon Valley, adding to poor crash statistics in the region.
And a timely reminder during national road safety week to "drive so others survive".
Police ask for anyone who witnessed the crash to content Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or to make a report online at www.crimestopperswa.com.au
