Police Seize $1M Worth Of Ice In Gold Coast Drug Busts

Police have taken $1 million worth of ice off Gold Coast streets ahead of Schoolies.

Officers made two major busts over the past week, seizing 1kg of the dangerous drug from an abandoned car found at the Mermaid Beach Bowls Club.

Meantime, they also recovered another kilogram of methamphetamine that had allegedly been sent through the mail to a Gold Coast business, before being picked up and driven just across the border.

New South Wales Police arrested a man at a service station on the M1 at Chinderah.
